The Basics
What is disobeying signs?
Section 182(2) of the HTA requires drivers to obey the instructions on any properly erected regulatory sign — no-turn signs, one-way signs, weight or height restrictions, and similar postings. This is distinct from a stop sign charge, which falls under section 136.
